JD Vance admitted his lies about pet eating in Springfield, OH, and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg shut him down hard.
Couch Vance practically boasted about his lies on CNN, wrapping them in the honest garb of he-who-tells-it-like-it-is, “If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that's what I'm going to do.”
Oh, yeah, JD? We’ve all heard about the horrific MAGA bomb threats shutting down hospitals and public offices in Springfield? Sounds like Couch is contributing to suffering of the American public.
Secretary Pete insightfully wrote this expert takedown on Twitter/X: “Cats! Dogs! Geese!...Like the last season before a show gets canceled for getting over-the-top and, at the same time, boring. This election is about jobs, wages, climate, health care, abortion. Not his show. Your life.”
On Meet The Press, Buttigieg called the lies and ensuing threats to the city “part of a strategy,” where Trump’s campaign would rather “talk about anything but their actual record and their actual agenda.”
“They need to get us talking about something else,” Buttigieg said. “The crazier, the better. And they go for something so outrageous that you actually can't ignore it...because very real pain has been inflicted on this community.”
