Not only is the admin not blocking David Ellison’s possibly illegal takeover of CNN’s parent company, Warner Discovery; its officials are openly lauding it!
Daily Kos reports yesterday that Pete Hegseth complained about CNN’s critical coverage of the Iran war, saying “The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.”
In a second story on the same day, Daily reports that the White House is throwing a fit about the CBS hire of Jeremy Adler, a communications flack fairly far down the ladder, because he once worked for Liz Cheney. Why are they getting involved in a low level hiring decision that would never have made the news without their involvement?
Because Trump cares more about the TV news and how he’s covered than he does about the American people!
