Nonviolence and protest work. The award-winning documentary "Bringing Down a Dictator", playing on Tuesday, May 17, in Round Rock, shows how a dedicated and nonviolent student group toppled Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic.

Narrated by Martin Sheen, "Bringing Down a Dictator" explores how the group Otpor! (Serbian for "Resistance!") used civil disobedience, humor, and rock music to dismantle Milosevic's regime.

The showing is sponsored by #ResistAustin and supported by Indivisible 1431.

Save the date! 6:45pm Tuesday, May 27, at the Flix Brewhouse, 2200 S I-335 Frontage Rd B1; Round Rock, TX 78681 (https://tinyurl.com/nhe8f59w )
