Dem candidates, officials gather at January Meet & Greet

Several patriotic and civic-minded Democratic candidates and officials spoke at NSD’s Meet & Greet on January 13.

Sharing their thoughts were:

• Brigid Shea, Travis County Commissioner, Place 2 (representing Lago Vista and Point Venture);

• Texas state Representative Vikki Goodwin, HD-47, who represented our area before being gerrymandered away;

• Texas state Representative Carl Sherman, HD-109, and candidate for US Senate;

• Dwain Handley, candidate for Texas state House District 19, representing Lago Vista, Jonestown, and Point Venture; 

• Rick Von Pfeil, candidate for US Congress, District 31;

• Steven Keough, candidate for US Senate;

• Susana Castillo, candidate for judge of the 353rd District Court.
