Colin Allred helped Texans during Winter Storm Uri; Ted Cruz hopes you’ll forget

Remember deadly Winter Storm Uri in 2021? Colin Allred does, but Ted Cruz hopes we’ll forget it.

Colin Allred was there when it counted.

“It was one of the busiest times I can remember,” Congressman Allred remembers. “I was coordinating with FEMA to access federal resources, working with local governments to find buildings with power and set up warming centers, and volunteering at food banks because when the lights go out, people rely on them more than ever.”

And where was our junior United States Senator? Why headed for the beach in sunny Cancun, of course. No way Ted Cruz and family are going to suffer like the rest of his 30 million constituents. No way, fool!

Ted Cruz was a no-show for Texas when we needed him.

246 Texans died in that storm.

And on January 6, Cruz cowered, while leaders like Colin Allred and Ruben Gallegos stood their ground, and helped their colleagues and staffers.

Vote Blue! Fire Ted Cruz!
