By Mike Killalea, NSD president
Tommy Tuber, whom some call Florida’s third senator, became righteously indignant over the whopping $211 billion the US has spent in Ukraine. Only thing is… that spending was by Russia to destroy Ukraine. The $211 B is way, way less than what America has spent.
Ta da: the senator from AlaFlorida
But what can you expect from a guy who lives in a $3 million, 4,000-square-foot beach house in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, where he has lived for around 20 years, according to the Washington Post.
Tuberville’s office says his primary residence is an Auburn house that records show is owned by his wife and son. But campaign finance reports and his signature on property documents indicate that his home is the Florida mansion.
Yet he still is “senator” from Alabama.
Due to the confusion, let’s call Tuber the AlaFlorida senator.
Heck Tommy, ‘Bama has beaches. What’s wrong with them that you must sneak down to Florida?
Users correct AlaForida Sen Tuber
Tuber posted the uh-oh on X, where he was firmly corrected. A “Community Notes” correction on X reads, “The $211 billion figure is the amount Russia has spent on the war as of February 2024. Senator Tuberville appears to have confused the United States with Russia.”
A real Putin stooge
AlaFlorida Sen Tuber is a real Putin stooge. Last June on – where else? – Steve Bannon’s podcast, Tuber claimed Putin had no interest in Ukraine. That’s why Putin invaded first Crimea, then Kyiv.
Tuber called democratically elected Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a “dictator.” Poor ol’ Vlad, Tuber insisted only “wants to make sure he doesn’t have United States weapons in Ukraine pointing at Moscow.”
Does that explain the Russian conquest of Ukraine territory Crimea? Did Vlad find any WMD? About as many as W found in Iraq, I imagine.
Don’t forget the military promotions he blocked!
And don’t forget, this paragon of patriotism spent the better part of a year blocking all military promotions. That’s what all red-blooded, support-the-military-type patriots do, right? Prevent deserving military officers from being promoted?
