24 hours of weirdness with the Orange Convicted Felon

By Mike Killalea, NSD president

It’s been a busy 24 hours for the Orange Convicted Felon. Trump used the time to determinedly move from very weird to the completely unhinged.

The OCF certainly sounded out a lot of loony and desperate posts and attacks over the last 24 hours (Tuesday-Wednesday). Just in that brief time span, the OCF managed to reveal his increasing unhingedness when he:

— Reposted a disgusting, misogynistic joke about Vice President Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton performing a sex act

— Falsely accused Kamala of staging a coup to secure the Democratic nomination

— Blamed Kamala for a security lapse that resulted in Trump’s ear being shot--Shared an image of Bill Gates in an orange jumpsuit

— Called for Barack Obama to face a “military tribunal”

— Promoted QAnon garbage

— Hawked digital trading cards in an online infomercial

— Sold off pieces of his “debate night” suit online (Maybe the lucky MAGA fanatic can buy a air of his underwear!)

— Campaign feuded with Arlington National Cemetery and now, with the US Army, which is charged with overseeing the sacred burial ground. The situation continues to escalate

And that was just in 24 hours.

Trump’s rampant misogyny

The misogynistic attack on Kamala and Hillary is a real low, right down there with the Access Hollywood tapes (which, in a sane world, would have cost Trump the 2016 election). It bears closer examination.

Robert Hubbell lets the media have it for ignoring this story:

“We are witnessing the near universal moral collapse of the media. They have created the monster that is Donald Trump.

They are allowing him to “slut shame” the first Black South Asian female presidential candidate with impunity. Until the press finds its backbone and moral compass, Trump will continue to slander women, minorities, veterans, LGBTQ people without consequence. That is the lesson Trump takes from our collective silence.”

We would do well to heed Hubbell’s words.
