In yesterday’s piece on substack, Dan Rather recounts the slew of broken promises made by our con man in chief, from ending “forever wars” to making America more affordable.

Today, Paul Krugman reports that consumer confidence has just hit the lowest point ever recorded in the long-running University of Michigan index of consumer sentiment.

It’s not hard to see the relationship between the two.
