Kushner’s conflict of interest largely ignored by major media

The President’s son-in-law is raking in millions from the Saudis while leading diplomacy efforts with Iran - a clear conflict of interest that has been largely ignored by major news outlets. Since 2021, Kushner has raised $2 billion from the Saudi government for his private equity fund and collected more than $110 million in management fees.

The Saudis’ position on the war with Iran is no secret - they lobbied Trump extensively both to initiate and continue the war. Yet the financial relationship between the Saudis and Kushner has gone largely unreported and unexamined.

Today Judd Legum of Popular Information reports that of 202 articles published between February 28 to April 19 covering Kushner’s diplomatic role, only six mention the conflict. This egregious conflict of interest deserves more attention from the press and the public.
