Exciting updates are on tap for NSD's April 13 Meet & Greet agenda. Learn about Democratic candidates for state and statewide office at the Saturday, April 13, event. Registration opens at 3:45 pm, and the program runs from 4-6 pm, with social time and refreshments following the business session.
US Rep Colin Allred, Dem candidate for US Senate, will appear via pre-recorded video.
In addition, our in-person guests are Dr Merrie Fox, candidate for state Senate, District 25, which represents the North Shore, and Maggie Ellis, who faces a runoff on May 28 for Place 2 of the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals.
The largest political affiliation in the state of Texas appears to be non-voters. Energizing these people will mean victory for Dems in November.
Consequently, we at NSD are focused on getting out the vote in 2024. REACH is a great tool to help do just that by using only your personal network -- no cold calling. Serena Ahmed-Arroyo, Texas Blue Action, will discuss this exciting technique.
This event also includes NSD's annual meeting, with opportunities for members to approve this year's budget and elect 2024-2025 officers.
