Is American democracy on the brink? NSD June 15 Meet & Greet speakers address 'Protecting Democracy'

NSD's June 15 Meet & Greet's theme is "Protecting Democracy," a key concern among thoughtful voters in America. Each speaker will provide a perspective on the threat our democracy faces, and their plans to protect our rights.

As currently scheduled, the event features Dwain Handley, candidate for state Representative, HD-19, and Kerry Stevens, vice chair of the Travis County Democratic Party.

In adition, NSD members will report on the Democratic state convention, which will have reently concluded in El Paso.

Further, NSD will review some of the fall out from the recent TCAD election, in which Democrats successfully steered three terrific candidates to victory.
