President Biden came out swinging in his January 6 speech at Valley Forge, telling the audience that “democracy is on the ballot” in the November 2024 election.
The president showed his disgust at Trump’s actions, and his commitment to democracy.
“Today, I make this sacred pledge to you: the defense ,protection, and preservation of democracy will remain the central cause of my presidency,” Biden said.
Biden set forth plenty of examples of Trump’s inhumanity, his selfishness, his disdain for democracy.
Trump: Dead soldiers are losers
Here’s just one truly disturbing memory, especially to veterans like me. Trump and MAGA might brag how much they support our military. But Trump called dead soldiers “losers,” Biden reminded us.
